  • Accelerates Tissue Repair

    Indiba increases blood flow to the area we are working on, this aids the body to naturally heal itself and decreases the healing time of musculoskeletal injuries ie. Tendon / Ligament Tears, Desmitis, Muscle tears and Tendonitis.

    Indiba has also been shown to affect areas up to 30cm deep so it can access access deep tissue areas ie. Sacroiliac (SI) and Deep Gluteus Muscle.

  • The short answer is not a lot, its a very mild sensation and horses seem to really enjoy their Indiba sessions. I feel that the combination of heat and analgesic effect makes it a really enjoyable experience for them. There is no need for sedation and it can even be done in the comfort of their own stable.

  • We do a lot of Indiba sessions at the Centre as it can be a great add on/warm up for the Water Treadmill for example Arthritic or Kissing Spine cases. We can bring the machine to your yard as long as you have electricity and somewhere safe and undercover to do the session. Please note that their is a mileage limit.

  • Yes, it can be used alongside PRP, Stem Cell, Metal Implants, Manual Therapy and Exercise. We will stop sessions for minimum of 2 weeks after any joint injections though.

    We cannot use Indiba if your horse is pregnant, has cancer (sarcoids) or the area is infected.

  • Yes, as long as your horse is routinely in work then making the most of the pain relieving effects can be beneficial.
